From Oneida, WI to Hollywood ✈️
The most incredible experience! Ironhorse Quillwork collaborated with me and other artists from the Oneida reservation in Wisconsin. Before heading to California we worked extremely hard each day to quill and bead over 200+ petals that are went onto the cape of Lily’s velvet Oscar dress. After landing in Los Angeles, the team and I worked alongside Gucci to complete the final touches of the dresses. It felt like I was in a movie! Beyond grateful for these memories, and that I got the opportunity to meet Lily Gladstone. Seeing Lily in both dresses complete was so emotional. It is difficult to find the words to explain how amazing the project is…beyond thankful for all the love and support we received from everyone involved throughout the process of it all, and thank you to those that were supporting us back at home. It felt like I brought my family and the Oneida community along with me to LA!
